Arbor Culture NZ Ltd are a family-run tree-surgery team who are residential specialists.

The company was founded in 2002, and has been servicing the Western BOP ever since. Husband & Wife team Willie & Jade Smith took over Arbor Culture in early 2019, bringing fresh energy and a wealth of experience. They remain based in Katikati.

Willie has been employed in the arboriculture industry for more than 18 years. He’s a fully-qualified Arborist, and has worked on all manner of jobs; from confined, high-risk fellings that were adjacent to buildings; up to large-scale, ‘old-man tree’ pruning tasks. Willie has seen almost everything.

Equipment

We have a great little tipper truck and a 6” mulcher that fulfills most of our needs. Chainsaws, ropes and tackle make up the difference! On the occasion that our clients want something out of our reach, we’re well connected in the industry and can arrange extra equipment.

Insurance & Council

Arbor Culture have comprehensive insurance, covering all aspects of our work.

We’re also council registered, and have the capacity to ascertain the applicability of the RMA or local council regulations.

Arbor Culture is based in Katikati, and we service the Western Bay from Waihi all the way down to Tauranga. Some areas include Waihī Beach, Katikati, Ōmokoroa, Te Puna, Te Puke, Maketu, Whakamarama, Pyes Pa, Mt Maunganui, Papamoa and more.
